Dr. David G. Haley, 54, of Galion, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at Galion Community Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

Born June 14, 1959 in Wood County, he was the son of the late John F. Haley and Elizabeth Wentz Haley of Mt. Vernon.

He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in 1978 and the Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree and also from the Palmer Institute of Chiropractic in Ames, Iowa.

Dave was a member of the Galion First Church of the Nazarene and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He owned and operated the Haley Chiropractic office in Galion for the past 15 years.

In addition to his mother he is also survived by one son, Caleb P. Haley at home and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Lisa Haley of Forest and Aaron and Mindi Haley of Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by father only.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at the Galion First Church of the Nazarene, 777 Fairview Ave., Galion, Ohio 44833 with Dr. Rick McCartney officiating.
