Dr. Darrell Keith Cardwell

Dr. Darrell Keith Cardwell, age 57, went home to be with Jesus Friday Morning May 25, 2012.
On September 5, 1954, he was born in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of the Sally (Johnson) Cardwell and the late Darrell Lee Cardwell.
He was a wonderful, passionate, strong man that was full of energy and life. He has faithfully served the Lord for 48 years. He has been a teacher and preacher of the Word. He was currently the pastor of Harmony Baptist Church in Marengo, Ohio, and a Professor at the Central Ohio Bible College. He had previously pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Troy, Ohio. He loved God passionately, was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 36 years, Lynn Ruth Cardwell of Marengo; their 3 children: Rachel (Joe) Niswonger of Dayton, Rebecca (Jeremy) Yost of Tampa, Florida, and Darrell Kaleb Cardwell of New Jersey; four grandchildren: Chelsey (Eugene) Liva, Mikayla Yost, Emily Yost, and Jerrod Niswonger; three great-grandchildren: John Christopher, Madeline, and Katie Liva; his mother, Sally Cardwell of Belleville, Michigan; brothers and sister: Kerry (Lisa) Cardwell of Southgate, Michigan, Kenny (Rose) Cardwell of Schererville, Indiana, Kim (George) Salajan, of Belleville, Michigan, and Kevin (Loredana) Cardwell of San Diego, California; numerous nieces and nephews; and his father-in-law, Al “Grandpa” Beesley of Hale, Michigan.
Including his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patricia Beesley.
His family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338. Services celebrating his homecoming will also be held there on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Missionary Lawrence Evans officiating. Graveside services will then be held at 4:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery, 834 Salem Rd., Milton, Ohio 45692.
