Dorothy V. Markovsky, 90, of 8431 State Route 61, Galion, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Village Care Center.

Born February 19, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Andrew Moelter and Helen Kuhn Moelter. She married John J. Markovsky on April 15, 1950. He died Feb. 22, 2004.

She was a graduate of Youngstown South High School and loved to crochet and bake. She was a homemaker and also worked at the former A & P Grocery in Youngstown.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Cal Williams of Galion, two grandchildren, John Haupt and Carolyn and her husband Dane Jones; five step grandchildren and spouses, Greg and Patty Williams of Bucyrus, Lisa and Russ Noel of Memphis, Tenn., Sue Riddle of Galion, Bobbi Williams of Mt. Gilead and Jenny Williams of Marion; three great-grandchildren; and 13 step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Frank Moelter.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with Rev. W. Daniel Addison officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
