Dorothy DeLembo, age 92, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.  She was born on May 7, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Martin and Mary (Pecjak) Bradac.  Dorothy attended Villa Angela Academy, worked as a Revlon hair model and retired from the electronics division of Gould Inc.

Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her daughters; Sharon Golob, Donna (Robert) Simmerman to whom was her caregiver and Loretta (Thomas) Faith; grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Ertle, Sara (Jeff) Lowe, Jonathan Golob, Jason Simmerman; great grandchildren, James, Ellise, Evan, Joyella, Emeline and Lucybeth Lowe, Lauren Ertle, Kendon Golob and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Peter C. DeLembo whom she married in May of 1948; siblings, Edward Bradac, Mary Naiman, Leona Kalous, Martin Bradac Jr., Anne Kriet, Albert Bradac and George Bradac; a grandson, Michael Simmerman and son-in-law, John Golob.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Assembly of God, 28870 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44092.  Friends may visit at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Pastor Dan DeLembo (great nephew) will be officiating.  Entombment will follow in Whitehaven Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to Capital City Hospice.
