  • To the Pauley Family:
While working at MVDC for 20 years, I enjoyed Dorothy whenever coming in contact with her. She enjoyed running the Commissary and inter-acting with the residents, as well as staff.
Her laugh and very frank opinions on anything were some of the characteristics I will remember.

Thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.

  • My heartfelt condolences go out to Dorthy’s family and friends, I know she will me greatly missed. Dorthy was a powerful woman in everything she did, she gave her all. If she loved you, you were left in no doubt, as is true if you angered her. I so loved her humor, and her laugh. I remember Dort introduced me to my first taste of “Grasshoppers”. That was a hilarious experience.

I have helped her in some of the things for her kids she loved dearly, put engine in daughters car and get a safer car for son, and get her trans am up and running, she was always grateful for all I done and always thanking me everytime we meet very sweet. The best memories of her was when Norma and her was going down to myrtle beach both of them excited to go out together and have some fun, when they got back she was telling me about how they were down there racing the youngsters in there mustang and Honda’s light to light and they kicked there butt’s. she said those kids didn’t know what to think when a couple of old grandma’s kick there butt’s with a grin from ear to ear.😁😁.
