MANSFIELD:  Dorothy A. Gleason, age 82, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Oak Grove Manor following a long illness.

She was born in Crestline on February 13, 1936 to Carl and Blanche Lookabaugh.

On February 9, 1963 she married Bill Gleason who passed away in 1999.

Dorothy worked along with her husband 34 years at J&B Acoustical as a truck driver.

A lifelong area resident, Dorothy had a passion for horses.  She raised an Arabian Stallion from six months and Raffie was her pride and joy for 35 years.  Dorothy also loved her Petey, a World Champion Saddlebred.  She enjoyed casino riverboat trips, playing mostly slots and Elvis.  More recently, she looked forward Bingo pizza parties with her daughter.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Jackie and Trent Groscost of Mansfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings.

A private service will be held at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, and interment will be in Lexington Cemetery.
