Doris J. Ziehlke

BELLVILLE: Doris J. Ziehlke, 73, of Worshire Road, Bellville, died Tuesday morning January 10, 2006 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a short illness.
She was born February 10, 1932 in Parma to Albert and Dorothy (Bluenthal) Stuebe, and was graduated from Cleveland West Technical High School in 1950.
She completed her nurses training at Willoughby East Lake School of Nursing and worked over 20 years as a licensed practical nurse with Lake County West Hospital.
A former church organist, Doris enjoyed organ music, and playing the organ, most of her life. An avid reader, she preferred suspense novels, and was a member of Jobe’s Daughters.
She is survived by her husband Charles H. “Chuck” Ziehlke, whom she married September 29, 1950; her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Robert Price of Bellville; two grandchildren and their spouses Audrey and Craig McQuillen of Bellville and Robert, Jr., “B.J.” and Hannah Price of Mansfield; a great grandson Toby McQuillen; a niece Lee Lowery, and two great nieces Jenny Lowery and Karyn Lowery all in Maryland.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Howard Stuebe and Lester Stuebe.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 2006 from 3-5 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 5 pm. The Rev. Tim Armstrong will officiate. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Garden, Chesterland.
Memorial contributions to the Jefferson Township-Bellville Rescue Squad & Fire Department may be made at the funeral home.
