Doris J. Rinehart, age 89, of Fredericktown passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home with her family at her side.

She was born on March 29, 1929 near Waterford, Ohio to the late Charles and Grace (Zolman) Singrey.  Doris was a good Christian woman who was devoted to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

She is survived by five sons, David (Kathy) Rinehart, Dean (Marsha) Rinehart, Dennis Rinehart, Doug (Melanie) Rinehart, Dana (Kellie) Rinehart; eleven grandchildren, Steve (Melissa) Rinehart, Chris Rinehart, Greg (Kelly) Rinehart, Geoff (Sarah) Rinehart, Matt Rinehart, Morgan (Angie) Rinehart, Taylor Rinehart, Doug Rinehart, Erin Rinehart, Lynne Gerber, Caleb Haley; eight great-grandchildren, Bryce, Carson, Reece, Aubrey, Madison, Reagan, Granger and Remi; her sister Ruth (Herb) Vroman; two daughters-in-law, M. Kathy Rinehart, Teresa Rinehart; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband Lester Rinehart; two brothers, David and Thomas Singrey; and four sisters, Zelda Kempton, Esther Phillips, Anna Mae Singrey and Pauline Singrey.

In keeping with Doris’ wishes, there will be no calling hours.  The family will observe a private graveside service in North Fork Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Knox County.
