Dora “Suzy” Wilson

MANSFIELD: Dora “Suzy” Wilson, 59, of Vicksburg Drive, Mansfield, died Tuesday evening December 31, 2002 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness.
She was born March 10, 1943 in Marion, to Billy J. and Etta (Boone) Murray, and was graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1961.
A homemaker, Dora moved to Mansfield in 1976 from Fairfield.
She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Colony Club Theater Group and the Lakewood Racket Club.
Devoted to her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her husband Ronald S. Wilson, whom she married April 14, 1963; her son Scott Wilson of Mansfield; three daughters and two sons-in-law Julie and Tim Pfeifer of Bellville, Kim McCartney and her fiancée Scott Kirby of Fort Myers, Florida, and Deanna DeLong and Jason Mowry of Lexington; eight grandchildren Jeremy Pfeifer, Kortni Pfeifer, Cullen DeLong, Tanner DeLong, Chandler DeLong, Jossie DeLong, Aly McCartney and Dillon McCartney; three brothers and two sisters-in-law Kerr and Sharon Murray of Marion, Bill and Barb Murray of Caledonia and George Murray of Marion; and aunt Virginia Conkle of Marion; nine nieces and nephews; and dear friends Norma Brann of Clearwater, Florida, and the Thacker Family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Mel Murray.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 3, 2003, at 3 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The Rev. David A. Gilbert will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home the two hours prior to the funeral service.
Memorial contributions to Main Street United Methodist Church may be made at the funeral home.
