Donna Jean Navratil passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was 82.
Donna was born May 18, 1935 to parents Edward William & Beatrice Alma “Beaty” (Plue) Pearson in Norwalk. After Donna graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1953, she married Roland “Punky” Navratil and they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away in 1997. They are together again.
Donna dearly loved her kids and grandkids and covered her home in photos of them. She enjoyed going to Rod Stewart concerts, shopping, and travelling with memorable trips including Canada, the DR, and the Bahamas. Her friends and family will miss her feisty personality.
She is survived by daughter Robin Blevins of Mansfield, twin daughters Lynn & Chris Studer of Mansfield and Lisa Patrlja of Florida; son Michael Navratil of Ashland; grandchildren Jeni, Rebecca, Phillip, Tony, Lori, and Michael; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister Shirley Shupp of Mansfield; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Maggie and great-granddaughter Marley.
A funeral service honoring Donna’s life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home and friends are invited to call between 10 and 11. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will speak and private burial will be held later in Mansfield Memorial Park.
