Donna Mae Ink Christian Bilbee

March 24, 1937 ‒ January 18, 2021

Bellville, Ohio

BELLVILLE: Donna Mae Ink Christian Bilbee went to be with her Savior Jan. 18, 2021.

Though she was a quiet woman, she had a heart and soul bigger than she was.  Loved by many, she was always willing to lend a helping hand for anyone in need.  She enjoyed gardening and preserving the food, cooking, sewing and crocheting.

One of her biggest joys in life was when she got to baby sit and help raise three of her granddaughters.  There were trips to the park with picnic lunches and trips to the Dairy Queen.

On July 1, 2007 she married Larry Bilbee.  The two enjoyed life to the fullest.  Going to church and spending time with family and friends was their life.  Pontoon boat rides with picnic lunches, trips to Tennessee to visit friends and trips to the Dairy Queen were always a treat.  They were always together, side by side, hand in hand, embracing life as one.

She is survived by her husband Larry Bilbee; daughter Cindy (Mike) Schopp; sons Tim (Barb) Christian and Jeff (Rachel) Christian; stepsons Mike (Judy) Bilbee, Steve (Jerri) Bilbee; brother Walter “Pete” Ink and sister-in-law Sue Christian; grandchildren Aubrey (Sedrick) Porter, Emily (Brian) Hartschuh, Jared (Heather) Christian, Alana (Ben) Ballou, and Melissa (Zach) Rinehart; step grandchildren Nash Bilbee, Josh Bilbee, Travis (Yurlania) Bilbee, Stephanie Oakley and Danielle Oney;  numerous great grandchildren and many more family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband J

Warren Christian; her parents Kenneth and Bertha Ink; brother-in-law Bob Christian; brothers and sisters-in-law Carleton and Ruth Ink, Charles “Charlie” and Wilma Ink, and sister-in-law Violet “Vi” Ink.

The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is serving Donna’s family.  Due to COVID, private graveside services will be held in Lexington Cemetery.  A celebration of life service, will be scheduled later this year.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist Church School.
