Donna L. Jenkins, 67, of Galion passed away Friday evening, September 6, 2019 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus after a courageous 17 year battle with cancer.

She was born February 1, 1952 in Ironton, Ohio and was the daughter of Fred and Evelyn (McCleese) Walters. Donna is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary L. Jenkins whom she married on July 18, 1970.

Donna was a homemaker and enjoyed the outdoors. Gramms, as her beloved grandchildren called her, enjoyed riding bicycles, gardening and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Melissa Barker, Krista Crager, Jennifer Jenkins and Sherry Scott all of Galion; seven grandchildren, Thomas “Tommy” Lewis, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Abigail & Kylee Crager, Paige “Maddy” Frazee and Jetlynn & Faith Scott; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Colson, Noelle, Grace and Paxton and four brothers, Fred “Buck” Walters of Sandusky, Buddy (Sharon) Walters, Jack (Connie) Walters and Mike (Barb) Walters all of Galion.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Judy Castle, Sharon Harmon and Barbara Walters; infant sister Beverly Walters and two sons-in-law, Tim Crager and John Barker.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
