Donna Jean Arnholt passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at home surrounded by her family. She was 90.

She was born June 2, 1929, to parents Andrew W. & Maudie (Lape) Oswalt at home in Butler, Ohio. Donna married Doyle Arnholt on October 8, 1959, and the pair were married for 44 years until he passed away in 2004.

Donna worked as a cook in restaurants for many years in the Loudonville area. She was also a lifetime member of Perrysville VFW and the Loudonville American Legion. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and cooking. But above all she loved to spend time with her family and grandkids and will be dearly missed by all of them.

She is survived by her grandchildren Deeva Poole (Travis) Clyburn, Donald (Tanya) Poole Jr., and David A. (Tassi) Poole; great-grandchildren Andrew (Emily) Poole, Dennis A. (Melissa)  Poole, Dylan Poole, Rebecca Poole, Bricyn Poole, Zakarey Poole, Coalton Poole, Jakub Poole, Cassi Rine, and Corey Rine; great-grandchildren Dennis Poole Jr., Jordan Wears, Zayden Poole, Rosalynn Poole, Nova Jean Poole; siblings Marian Eilenfield, Roxanna Fowler, John Oswalt; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Arnholt; sons David L. Poole, Larry E. Poole, Donald A. Poole Sr.; and siblings William Oswalt, Freda Lifer, Gene Oswalt, Joyce Phillips, and Bob Oswalt.

A graveside service will be held in Donna’s memory Friday, May 29, 2020, at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate.
