Donna Jean Sahr 87 of Delaware passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Carriage Court Nursing Home in Marysville, Ohio.

She was one of six children born to the late Pearl &Eathele (Bice) Hatcher, she was born October 31, 1929 in Union County, Ohio.

Donna attended Grace Brethren Church in Delaware, and later retired from Ranco after 28 years of service.

Left to cherish her memory are nieces Robin Waters ( Don Wampler), Debbie Boerger, and Peg Stowers; nephews Phil (Linda), Pearl (Sheila Blanton), Robert, and Doug Stowers; great-, great-great-, and great-great-great- nieces and nephews; niece in-law Bonnie Hatcher; special friends Karen & Don Lobdell, and Ed Flahive.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Sahr on December 13, 1977,  sister June Stowers; brothers Willard, Charles, Richard Hatcher, and Clarence Rowe; niece Patricia Love; nephews Terry Hatcher and Roger Hatcher; step- mother Bessie Wolford Hatcher .

Donna enjoyed reading, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Her proudest achievement was working her whole life and having her own home. Those closest to her will remember her as generous, and always giving you the solid truth and the honest answer.

Celebrant Marvin Hintz will perform a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 21, 2017 at the Snyder- Rodman Funeral Service 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015 ( formerly 1510 W William St.). Family and friends may call from Noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware.
