  • May Donnie’s journey take him to a place of rest and peace. I have known him as a friend for many years and a better friend would be hard to find. He always said he would like to come to Canada to go bear hunting. It never happened although it wasn’t for a lack of trying on our part. It was his work that got in the way. That happens to a lot of us. I will miss his phone calls . The great conversations we had from time to time. Now he will be able to have those conversations with his old buddies Marl Burton and of course Mike Gallagher. Rest in peace Donnie.

  • I’ll never forget all the fond memories we shared and hunting adventures we went on. He was the best outdoorsman I’ve ever known and he taught me so much, but more than that he was a great friend whom you could always count on. The world is a lesser place without him in it but I know he is in a better place not suffering. I pray for god to give you and your family the strength to make it through these unbearable times and to ease the pain, I love you all and am keeping you all in our prayers.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rain fall soft upon your fields,
    And until we meet again,
May god hold you in the palm of his hand
    🙏

  • Our prayers are with you and the family during this time Jeanette. Donny was a very special guy! I remember him as a young boy in school always with a smile. During this time I pray that the word of God would give you hope! 2 Cor. 5:8 tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord! This is a promise! This life is so short but we are promised eternal life! The apostle Paul tells us, those who are asleep in Christ will rise first then we that remain will be with Him. This life is but a vapor but the next is forever! Followers of Jesus Christ have this promise. In our grief we are guaranteed that gives us great hope, we will see one another again shortly!

    Praying
