Donald P. Workman, age 92, of Park Rd., Mount Vernon, died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home. Donald was born December 14, 1909, in Knox County, to the late Samuel and Lillie (Schols) Workman. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 1936, with a degree in engineering. Donald was the owner of D.P. Workman Associates, in Kansas City Missouri. He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, Sertoma International, and of the Faith Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife Helen (Stitzlein) whom he married October 19, 1940; two sons Douglas (Gail) Workman of St. Louis, Missouri and David Workman of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Ann (Micheal) Behbehani of Cincinnati; two brothers Bryon Workman of Danville and Owen Workman of Norwalk; two sisters Doris Banbury of Danville and Ruth Lingenfel
ter of Loudenville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Workman and a sister Wava Hammond.
There will be a Memorial Services 2 PM Tuesday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. Rev. Mark Wildermuth will be officiating. The burial will be held at a later date at the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
