  • Pauline and Family:

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Donald. Be thankful for the
66 years you had together. How wonderful that you had three children, 6 grand-
children, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. I have 3 grand-daughters 16, 14 and 12. Doubt that I will ever see any grand-children. Cancer killed my husband (Ron) last year. He had just turned 83. I still remember your beautiful smile and always happy attitude. I also miss Esther. I never knew your husband but heard good things about him. Peace be with you and may good memories remain in your heart.

  • Pauline—sorry Donald passed but sure he’s in a better place without pain I’ Ll get a hug Fri evening or Saturday am as soon as we can get there Praying for you and the rest of the family Love to all

  • What a joy it was to serve as Don’s Pastor for the past 18 1/2 years. From the very first day we met him, we loved him. He had a special smile and such a kind spirit.
He could also be witty. And, the homemade ice cream that he would bring to our potluck dinners was wonderful. He loved to farm. He also loved to garden and would often bless us with vegetables. And, then, there was his apples. He was known to leave bags of them on our enclosed porch. He was a faithful worker in the Church. And, for many years, he sung in the choir. It was so hard, this past year, to watch his health decline and to see him become bedridden. And, we knew from talking with him, that he was getting a little anxious to go home to be with Jesus.
Although all of us will miss him, we are rejoicing with him, that he is now free from all pain and suffering and that he is home with Jesus. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with each of you.
