Donald Aloysius Shick, age 82, of Sunbury, died peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 9, 1937 in Jeanette, PA to the late Aloysius B. and Julia (Poknis) Shick.

Don was the founder and former owner of Ultimate Technology and Security Solutions. He was a member of the former Sunbury Lions Breakfast Club, he enjoyed mowing the lawn, fishing and vacationing in Florida.  Don was a hard-working, people person who enjoyed time with family and was a proud father of 5 boys.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by son, David.

He is survived by loving wife of 54 years, Joan M. (Bennett) Shick; sons, Douglas (Byrd) Shick of Portland, OR, Devin (Tonya) Shick of Marysville, Drew (Angela) Shick of Marysville, Dayne (Jennifer) Shick of Sunbury; grandchildren, Brock, Ava, Brandon, Morgan, Sarah, Joshua and Hannah.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sunbury Memorial Park.  Mr. Larry DeWitt, Funeral Celebrant, officiating.
