Diane Michele Zgela

MANSFIELD: Diane Michele Zgela, age 48, of State Route 39, Lucas, died Sunday, August 26, 2001, following a long illness.
She was born January 26, 1953 in Mansfield to Michael A. & LaVonne (Lewis) Zgela, was graduated from Lucas High School in 1971 and had been a lifelong area resident.
Diane had previously worked at Therm-O-Disc, The Mansfield Richland County Public Library, and as an assembler for Hi-Stat for the last nine years.
She was a member of Berean Baptist Church and loved serving the Lord. An avid amateur photographer, Diane enjoyed playing the guitar, and playing with the “treasure and love of her life”, her beagle Abbie.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Dan L. & Kay Zgela of Lucas; nieces Alana LaVonne and Katrina Marie Zgela of Lucas; three uncles and their wives Donald & Beverly Lewis of Trussville, AL, Frank & Marguerite Zgela and John Zgela all of Mansfield; five aunts and two uncles Rosemary & Cliff McGinty and Anna Flaharty of Mansfield, Wayne & Helen Leeper of Perrysville, Louise “Tootsie” Zgela of Port Clinton and Mabel Myers of Perrysville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Wednesday August 29, 2001 from 5 to 8 PM in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday August 30 at 10:30 AM at Berean Baptist Church, 2145 Middle Bellville Road, Mansfield with Pastor David J. Pound officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville.
Memorial contributions to Hospice of North Central Ohio may be made at the funeral home.
