 Diana M. Stroup, 70, of Galion passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Mill Creek Nursing Center in Galion after a two month illness.

Born May 22, 1947 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Howard Stroup and Della Smith of Galion.

She attended Fairway School in Bucyrus and worked for Waycraft Industries. Diana liked cats, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. Purple was her favorite color and she enjoyed playing Bingo with her dad.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by sister Nancy (Daniel) Wiggins of Galion; niece Kristen Wiggins and Fiancée Justin Sherlock of Galion; nephew Dustin (Amanda) Wiggins of Dayton and several cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fairway-Waycraft or Humane Society Serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
