Della D. Justice, age 65, of VanFossen Road, Utica died Tuesday July 20, 2004 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Della was born at Freeburn, Kentucky on February 22, 1939 the daughter of the late John B. and Minnie Dotson and has been a resident of the Licking and Knox Counties since 1973. She was a 17-year employee of Western Electric and retired from the Knox County Board of Mentally Retarded and Developmentally Disabled (MRDD) after 13 years employment.

Della was a member of the Centerburg Church of God, was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her passion in life was her family especially her five grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Arvil T. Justice whom she married January 16, 1957; her daughter and son-in-law Terry D. and Frank N. Pribonic of Mount Vernon; her son and daughter-in-law Thomas D. and Rhonda E. Justice of Utica; her grandchildren Kristin (Gary) Hankins, Katelyn Pribonic, Kari Pribonic, Logan Justice and Lane Justice; three brothers Clarence Dotson of Maryville, Tenn., Johnny Dotson of Bean Station, Tenn., Jim Dotson of Grovecity, Ohio; five sisters Edith Blair and Mary Bentley both of Freeburn, Kentucky, Leona Milam of Columbus, Shelby Hunt of Lake Wales, Florida and Gail Emerson of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Bobby McClure Dotson and a sister Dorothy Gainelle Dotson.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM at the Colonial City Baptist Church at Bangs with Rev. Jonathan Mitchell and Rev. Dan Whisner officiating. Burial will follow at Lock Cemetery.
