Delbert L. Webster, age 69 of Richwood and formerly of Bellepoint, passed away early Friday morning at his residence. He was born April 5, 1941 in Delaware, Ohio to Elwin and Charlotte Staley Webster. He had been a lifelong Delaware area resident and is retired from O. M. Scotts of Marysville. Delbert was a member of the Bellepoint United Methodist Church, a farmer, ‘coon hunter extraordinaire, and a member of the Black & Tan Coon Hound Breeders Association. He also enjoyed raising and training Percheron draft horses. Oh, and did we mention that he loved to ‘coon hunt? He is survived by his wife Margaret; 3 daughters Marjorie (John) Thompson of Marion, Patty (Mike) Hope of Delaware, and Tammy Davis of Delaware; sons Barry (Julie) Webster of Sunbury & Bill (Judy) Buckley of South Carolina. 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his sister Cheryl Stickman of West Virginia; and a close family friend, Thad Ray of Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Becky, and a sister Chloe Tossie. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 14th at 11:00 AM at the Bellepoint United Methodist Church, where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time.
