  • Fran and family, So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing this morning. We have a lot of great memories of our knowing you both over the years. There was a few bus trips with the baseball team back in the 1990 & 1991 years, that he drove for us. Dave and I would always kid each other over something every time we came in contact with each other over the years. May our Lord give each of you peace, comfort and strength to see you through this, knowing Dave is with our Heavenly Father.

  • Dear Fran,
We are so sorry! He was the Best neighbor! Always plowing our LONG driveway and for nothing. He was just that kind of guy! He was the Best bus driver! When he drove our field trips he was also our own personal tour Guide! He had a story about everything. When we went to Lake Erie and swam, he never complained when all the kids got back on the bus wet. He truly was one of a kind! Let us know if you need anything! We will be happy to plow your drive now! Love Rhonda and Pete

  • So sorry to hear Mr. Cover passed.
He was my bus driver in the 70’s when I lived on 69.
Always greeted you with a smile and hello, and a smile when you got off the bus. Last day of school was ice cream and little prize for being a good rider when you got off at home.
He had a radio on the bus with speakers in the back corners…where I first heard the “skyrockets in flight, afternoon delight” song, still sticks in my today.
I never forgot about him, often thought about him, and I will never forget him.

  • Fran and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a dear friend of both of our families. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.

  • Fran and Family
It is times like this that God will have a hand of peace that will be felt. But because of the way he created us, we can’t avoid the sadness and the loss we feel.
But just as David said in the Paslm “We can’t bring them back but a day will come we can be with them again” I am sorry for your loss, and I pray the love of God will be a comfort to you and your family.

    Chuck
