David Grant Ulmer

David Grant Ulmer, 55, died Monday, June 7, 2004, after an illness.
Born in Galion, he was the son of the late Grant and Ruth Diamond Ulmer, and a longtime resident of Bolton, MA.
Mr. Ulmer leaves his beloved wife of 33 years, Christine Eichhorn Ulmer, and their two children Blake and Lindsey, all of Bolton. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ulmer Haines and Quentin Haines, and their daughter Allison, of Westerville, Ohio, and his mother-in-law Evelyn Eichhorn of Galion.
Mr. Ulmer was a graduate of Miami University of Ohio. After serving in the Air Force, he began his professional career with Digital Equipment Corporation and remained with the company as it merged with Hewlett Packard. Most recently, he served as Worldwide Business Development Manager in HP Services. He was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Sudbury, MA. Although he was young, Mr. Ulmer had already accomplished his primary goals in life, and had an awful lot of fun along the way.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Peace Lutheran Church in Galion. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, Sudbury, Mass.
