Darryl B. Eyster

Darryl Eyster was an outdoorsman. He saw and appreciated nature not only with his eyes, but with his heart and his understanding. Active with the Richland County Fish and Game Club, he was a sportsman who just loved being outdoors.
Darryl passed away Friday evening April 18, 2014 in his Bellville home. He was 71.
Born December 5, 1942 in Knox County, he was graduated from Bellville High School in1960. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ashland College, and had retired as the director of the Neighborhood Youth Corps which became the Human Resources Bureau.
He is survived by his son Travis (Shannon) Eyster of Bellville; grandchildren Alexis, Benjamin and Kendal Eyster; his father Benn Eyster of Bellville; brothers Erryl (Rayna) Eyster and Gordon (Tina) Eyster all of Bellville and Kevin (Vivian) Eyster of Canton, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ninabel (Burkholder) Eyster, and his daughter Jana Marie Eyster.
The Eyster family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Bellville Cemetery. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate.
Contributions in his memory to Richland County Fish and Game Club may be made at the funeral home.
