Daniel W. “Danny” Carpenter, 28, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Friday evening, October 5, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Mount Vernon. He was born on May 5, 1979 in Newark, a son of the late Tammy Carpenter and the late Daniel Ferenbaugh.
Danny worked for GAP Painting in Mount Vernon. He loved motorcycling, painting and tattooing. He was also a great artist.
Danny is survived by his estranged wife, April (Thompson) Carpenter of Mount Vernon; his step son, Jordan Collins of Mount Vernon; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Carpenter of Mount Vernon and grandfather, Jack DeBoard of Mount Vernon; aunts, Kim Hale of Gambier, and Pam Lawrence of Mount Vernon; uncles, Ted and Todd Carpenter both of Mount Vernon; his companion, Lacie Peters; cousins, Randi, Kenny, and Eric; a close friend, Cassidy Rae; and George Conner, who was like a father to Danny.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Mount Vernon.
