Daniel T. Fabian

June 25, 1945 ‒ November 15, 2016

Marion, Ohio

Daniel T. Fabian, age 71, of Galion, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.  On June 25, 1945 Daniel was born, the only son in a family of eight children, in Marion, Ohio to the late Thomas Lawrence and Kathryn Mae (Beverly) Fabian.

Daniel was a simple hardworking man, tending to the family farm where he lived his entire life.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and was wise beyond belief. To say that Daniel was an all-around wonderful person is an understatement; he would give anyone in need the shirt off of his back and would never let harm come to his large family.  Daniel was married on January 21, 1991 to the former Linda Wells. Together they shared almost fifteen wonderful years of marriage tending to the farm, spending time with their children and spoiling their grandchildren.  She preceded Daniel in death on January 14, 2006

Daniel is survived by step-children, Vicki Ann Epps of Marion and Brian Lee Tucker of Cardington; grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Tucker and Melanie (Toby Shipley) Tucker; great-granddaughter, Anastasia; sisters, Judy Worcester of Caledonia, Marji (Sheldon) McKinniss of La Rue, Patty (Jim) Perry of Circleville, Kay (Ned) Geckle of Marion, Becky O’Brien of Mansfield, Nancy (Mike) Housekeeper of Lexington, KY and Jeanne (John) Swisher of Pataskala; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ruth Salcedo of Galion.

Visitation will be held at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 W. Center St., from 4 until 7 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016.  A 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 251 N. Main St., on Saturday, November 19, 2016 with Father Thomas Buffer officiating.  Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery.

Snyder Funeral Homes of Marion are honored to serve the Fabian family.
