Daniel “Joe” Joseph Camburn II, 52, of Ostrander, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital.

Joe was born in Albion, Michigan to Dan Camburn of Homer, MI and the late Gerri (Rindfliesch) Camburn.

Joe was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed football, golf, fishing, and hockey and was passionate and dedicated fan of the Michigan Wolverines. He was the life of every party. Joe never knew a stranger; he was the type of guy to always keep you laughing, whether that was joking or giving nicknames.  Having a love for classic rock music, he was never shy about singing along.

He was a very caring husband, father, and friend. One who wouldn’t hesitate to give you the shirt off his back.  Most proud of his children, they will forever remain his legacy. He treasured time spent with them, rekindling his youthful spirit, which will forever be remembered.

In addition to his father Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Deserey Camburn; three children, Brittany Buckley, Ben Camburn, and Danielle Camburn; sister, Wendy Nantz; three brothers, Gary (Cathy) Camburn, John (Jane) Camburn, and David (Amy) Camburn; and  father and mother-in-law, Russell “Paw” and Dixie “Meme” Lilly.

Visitation will be held at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 11:00am-1:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 pm, Celebrant Don Lockwood officiating. Casual dress is requested and guests are encouraged to wear a jersey of their favorite sports team, Joe will of course be wearing his favorite Michigan attire.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
