Dana Lee VanAntwerp, age 39, of Ashley died at home surrounded by her family, Wednesday morning, February 11, 2004 following a 5 month illness.

She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on January 28, 1965 to Harry and Marilyn (Bush) Long of Bucyrus. Graduate of Bucyrus High School Class of 1983 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business at The Ohio State University.

Dana was an accountant with Liberty Castings of Delaware. She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed softball, collecting Snoopy items, and was a fan of all sports and especially The Ohio State University sports teams.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Scott VanAntwerp, two Daughters; Shana and Shannon, Sisters; Lisa Stansbery of Euclid, Linda (George) Dawson of Mansfield, and Denise (William) Long of Watertown, TN., Nephews; Shawn, Billy, and Jesse, Niece; Effie, Parents-in-law: Bob and Janet VanAntwerp of Delaware, Sister-in-law; Leanne Hauger of Delaware, and grandmother-in-law; Jean King of Marysville, MI.

Friends may call Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m, burial will follow in Mayfield Cemetery, near Waldo, Ohio.
