Dan “Wayne” Jackson II went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, June 9. 2018. He was 60.

He was born February 19, 1958 in Mansfield to parents Dan & Minnie (Taylor) Jackson Sr. He later went on to graduated from Malabar High School with the class of 1976.

He is survived by his sons Dan Jackson III, Jeremy (Kiara) Jackson, and Dexter Ginn; grandchildren Armony Horn, Brooklyn Jackson, and Mackenzee Jackson; siblings John Fry and Lois Wellington; special friend Angela Durham who stuck with him from the beginning to the end; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two sisters Joyce Jackson and Marilyn Jo Jackson.

The Jackson family will receive friends Thursday until the Service from 5 – 8 p.m. at the home of his nephew, Taylor Jackson, 308 Home Ave, Mansfield. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 16, 2018 at Latter Rain COGIC, 259 Glessner Ave, Mansfield at 11 a.m. Supt. Louis Blevins Jr. will speak.
