Dallas G. Wycoff Jr.

Dallas G. Wycoff Jr., age 59 of Delaware passed away at home Sunday evening, January 15, 2006 surrounded by his family and close friends following a six month illness.
He was born on March 23, 1946 in Delaware to the late Dallas Sr. and Catherine E. (Martin) Wycoff. Dallas was a lifelong resident of Delaware, with the exception of a few years spent in Marysville. For over 20 years he worked as a radiator repairman with the former Smith’s Auto Service on Central Ave. in Delaware. Most recently he served as the canteen manager for AMVETS Post 104.
A former member of Delaware Moose Lodge and AMVETS Post 104, he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and just “tinkering” in his garage.
Survived by his wife of 40 years: Sarah (Thomas), Daughters: Joyce (Brian) Alexander of Marysville, Melinda Ross of North Lewisburg, 5 Grandchildren: Megan and Kara Alexander, Shayna, Derrick, and Nick Ross, Sisters: Geraldine Davis of Marion, Virginia Russell of Melbourne, FL, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and a special canine friend a Manchester Terrier: Stewart.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a Sister: Patricia Smale in 1987.
Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Slider officiating, burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
