Dale Franklin Moll, 77, of Marion died Saturday afternoon June 28, 2008 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 24, 1930 in Upper Sandusky the son of the late Edward and Hazel (Masters) Moll, and stepmother Norma (Masters) Moll.

After graduating from Upper Sandusky High School in the class of 1949, he enlisted in the United States Army. He later moved to Marion where he lived for nearly 48 years. Dale was employed by Ohio Edison as a line troubleshooter for 36 years until his retirement in 1990.

Dale was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time gardening and riding his tractors. He especially enjoyed watching the sporting events of his grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the Train Collectors of America.

He will be greatly missed by his 2 sons Kelly Moll of Marion and Larry Moll of Nevada; and his 3 daughters Kristy Carr of Marion, Kandi (Wayne) Akers of Richwood, and Kerry (Jason) Lambert of Marion. He is the grandfather of 5 grandsons and a granddaughter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother George Moll.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
