Cynthia L. “Cindy” Wade, age 67, of Marion and formerly of Ironton, Ohio, left her earthly home to be with her heavenly Father early Monday morning, July 21, 2014, following a battle with cancer.

On September 26, 1946, Cindy was born in Grayson, Kentucky, one of two daughters of the late Frank “Gene” and Mary M. (Bramhall) Martin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Kevin (Sherrie) Wade of Richwood, and Jason (Kelly) Wade of Indianapolis, IN; her sister, Cathy (William “Skip”) Hartman of Marion; a nephew, Jeremy (Kristin) Stringfellow; and a great nephew and niece: Oliver and Reece.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul David “Pete” Wade.

Services in Cindy’s memory will be observed privately by her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1198 Kenny Centre Mall, Columbus, OH 43220.

  • FROM SHEILA SEWALD / REMEMBERING CINDY GOING BACK TO ONE OF MY MEMORIES IT WAS CHRISTMAS AND ME AND CINDY HAD THE KIDS ALL 4 OF THEM KEVIN JASON BRYAN AND KRIS WE WENT TO GET CHRISTMAS TREES IN THE SMALL CHEUY MALIBU WE HAD WE HAD ONE BIB PROBLEM NO ROOM FOR 4 KIDS AND TWO CHRISTMAS TREES SO CINDY SAID SHE STAY WITH THE KIDS WE LOAD BOTH TREES IN THE CAR AND I TOKE ONE TO CINDYS HOUSE AND THE OTHER ONE TO MINE BOY WHAT A TRIP AND DAY THAT WAS CINDY AND I JUST LOVED TO SHOP TOGETHER MANY GREAT MEMORIES I HAVE HAD OF HER I.LL MISS YOU CINDY BUT ARE MEMORIES WILL LIVE ON I.LL SEE ONE DAY IN HEAVEN

You took care of him & he took care of you & made sure you had a place to live after he was gone in Ironton & your home you made together. You both are together now as GOD’s Angels.
