Cline Menix

Cline Menix went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, January 8, 2017. He was 78.

He was born May 16, 1938 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to parents Elba & Edith (Greer) Menix. Cline later met a young lady named Lynda Ellen Sullivan and pair soon married on August 30, 1965. They then moved to Mansfield where Cline began working at Shiloh Corporation as press operator, retiring in 1984 after 18 years of service.

In spare time, Cline enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his many garages. He was a member of Mansfield Wesleyan Holiness, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by siblings Sherman (Wilma) Menix, Evelyn Williams Collins, and Darlene (Jim) Jackson; 8 nieces; 5 nephews; son Joseph (Kim) Cantlebarry, and grandson Colton Cantlebarry.

In addition to his parents, Cline was preceded in death by his wife Lynda Ellen Menix in 2009; brother Raymond Menix, and sister Genevieve Burge.

A funeral service in Cline’s honor will take place Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. with an hour prior of calling at the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home Finefrock Chapel. Rev. William Cantlebarry will officiate with burial to follow in Springmill Cemetery.

Contributions in his memory to Mansfield Wesleyan Holiness may be made at the funeral home.
