MANSFIELD: Claude Mollett, 74, of Mansfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 16, 2020.

Born November 5th, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lacy Bune and Gertrude (Maynard) Mollett. He worked 25 years for UBRAND. He attended Mansfield First Assembly of God.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and was great at fixing things.

Claude is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy Mollett; his four children Carl Mollett of Alabama, Kenneth (Hope) Mollett of Cardington, Kimberly (Vaughn) Smith of Mansfield, and Lisa (Garl) Adkins of Lexington, brothers Lonnie, Wayne, and Henry Mollett all of Franklin Furnace. Claude has 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents Lacy and Gertrude, grandson Devin Thompson,  sisters, Christine, Maxine, Rosetta, and Ima Jean and brother, Clyde Mollett; daughter-in-law Robin Mollett.

Private family funeral services will be held in Mansfield First Assemblies of God Church.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park.

The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Homes is assisting Claude’s family with funeral services.
