Claude E. Alexander, age 93, of Fredericktown, Ohio, formerly of Ventura, California and Springfield, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday afternoon, September 12, 2006 at the Morrow Manor Nursing Home in Chesterville.

He was born in Pittsville, Virginia, on September 4, 1913 the son of Newton and Addie (Robinson) Alexander. Claude served as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corp. He had been awarded the Air Medal with one Silver and four Bronze Clusters, and a Purple Heart in the European – African Theatre in World War II.

Claude was a retired entrepreneur with Alexander International Films Incorporated for Production and Distribution.

Surviving Claude are his loving daughters, Kristi Alexander and her husband, Vernon Nevoraski of Fredericktown, and Candace Naisbitt of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren, Rebecca Ryan, John Naisbitt, Rob and Christopher Erfurt; six great grandchildren; and several cousins.

Following Claude’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
