Clark H. Baker, age 65, of Z Street, Fredericktown, Ohio passed away on Thursday December 22, 2005 in the emergency room of Knox Community Hospital. He was born on July 2, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Everett Ray and Florence Grace (Robedeau) Baker graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1959. Clark served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. He served as health and safety officer for the Mount Vernon Developmental Center retiring in 2000 after 25 years employment. Clark was a member of Thrall Lodge #170 F & AM and Ann Hill Chapter #81 Order of Eastern Star both in Fredericktown. He was an avid woodworker and loved making the children smile when he would give them one of the toys he created.

He is survived by his loving wife Synda Sue (Mizer) Baker, a son, Gary (Lorie) Baker of Bellville, a daughter, Melissa (David) Barrios of Ashland, two grandchildren, Veronica and Gabriela Barrios, a brother, Glen (Vicky) Baker of Westerville and a sister, Carolyn (Charles) Lewis of Enon, Ohio. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Donald Baker.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 to 1 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown where a service will follow at 1 PM. Burial with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ann Hill Chapter #81 Order of Eastern Star in care of Doris Ann Ebersole, 12 Summit Dr. Fredericktown, Ohio 43050.
