Clara Louise Dapprich, age 94, Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born on November 19, 1918 in Wayne, Michigan to the late Edwin and Ethel Mae (Miller) Wensley. Clara was an active member of the Dearborn Free Methodist Church where she was involved in many activities and attended Mount Vernon First Church of the Nazarene. She served as director of the Single Adventures travel group for more than 20 years.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Kathleen) Dapprich of Mount Vernon, three daughters, Carolyn (Jack) Peel of Dunedin, Florida, Ruth Ann (Ray) Myers of Greenville, Illinois and Jeanie Walters of Mount Vernon, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, two brothers, Edwin George (Lois) Wensley of Bradenton, Florida, Lionel (Elinor) Wensley of Pompano Beach, Florida, three sisters, Lillian Mae Zebley of Phoenix, Arizona, Lucile (Paul) Campbell of Fishersville, Virginia and Fran (Rex) Erwin of Livonia, Michigan.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Franz Dapprich and two sisters, Mary Ellen Masters and Sally Key.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Dearborn Free Methodist Church at 1 p.m. where friends may call two hours prior. Rev. Chad Harvey will be officiating. Entombment will follow in United Memorial Gardens in Plymouth, Michigan.
