Cinda Lou Davis, age 72, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 30, 1946 in Mount Vernon to the late Edgar and Clara (Clements) Davis.  Cinda was a cheerleader at Amity School.  She was the founder of Joy Ministries.  She enjoyed playing her piano, reading, puzzles and crossword puzzles.  But most of all, Cinda loved her feline companions and her family.

She is survived by her sons, Danny (Christine) Doyle, Todd (Penny) Doyle; her daughter Aimee (Ivan) Henderson; four grandchildren, James, David, Nicole and Cristina Doyle; seven great grandchildren; her brother Dan (Sandy) Davis; and two sisters, Gloria (Gary Sr.) Snyder and Sharon Zolman.

In addition to her parents, Cinda was preceded in death by the father of her children, Danny Doyle Sr. and her brother Jamie Davis.

Friends may call on Friday from 11AM – 1PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home.  A service will follow, beginning at 1PM, with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.  Burial will take place in Amity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society, 400 Columbus Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
