Christine K. Cherry

June 02, 1964 ‒ October 19, 2015

Delaware, Ohio

Christine K. Cherry, age 51, of Delaware, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord Monday, October 19, 2015.

She was born on June 2, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of Howard L. Cherry, Jr. and Barbara C. (Mulhollen) Cherry of Delaware.

Christine was a graduate of Rutherford B. Hayes High School and until her retirement worked for Time Warner Cable. She started there installing cable, climbing poles and ended up her years in customer service. She received several awards for her customer service skills.

She was a 7-year member of the Vineyard Church of Delaware County where she was a volunteer with the Med-Clinic and attended a ladies Bible study, learning more about her Lord’s love for her.

In her younger years, she took Karate classes and earned her brown belt. Christine enjoyed reading and cross-stitching.  She also loved animals, especially her beloved cats.

She will be remembered as a compassionate person, someone who was always concerned about others.  She was also a good listener and “had a sweetness about her”.  She always took the time to listen and talk to her friends and family, praying for them as well.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother Barbara of Delaware; her sister Kimberly Faulkner and brother-in-law Dale, of Delaware; and her nephew Matthew Faulkner, his wife Cathy, and their daughter Sydney of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard L. Cherry, Jr.

A Memorial Service at the Vineyard Church of Delaware County located at 1001 W. Cherry St., Sunbury, Ohio, 43074 will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 7-8 pm.

The DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home of Sunbury is honored to serve the family of Christine.  Special stories and condolences can be shared with them at snyderfuneralhomes.com
