Cheryl “Sherry” Schoenberger Hubbard

Cheryl “Sherry” Schoenberger Hubbard, age 59, of Westerville died unexpectedly Thursday morning, September 14, 2017 at her home.

She was born on March 19, 1958 the daughter of the late Earnest M. Sr. and Pauline “Polly” (Smith) Schoenberger.

A graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1977, she worked as a State Tested Nurses Assistant. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. A collector of many things, she was a preferred Avon client. Sherry collected memories and photos of her family.  Both loving and generous, she was always willing to lend a helping hand. Strong willed and straight forward she liked to have fun, laugh, and was a free spirit.

Sherry will be remembered for her love of family, especially the little ones, her treasured grandchildren.

Survived by her sons Dustin (Heidi) Breece of Nashport, Brandon (Amanda) Hubbard of Delaware, 7 Grandchildren: Milo, Nora, Elsie, Sutton, Mason, Brinlynn, Colton, brother Joseph Schoenberger and his wife Laureen of Centerburg, along with special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Earnest M. “Ernie Schoenberger Jr.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. St. Rt. 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.  Burial to follow at a later date in Berkshire Cemetery in Sunbury.

  • I’m so sorry to learn of Cheryls passing. I believe I worked with her at Willowbrook in Delaware in 2008 &2009. She worked as an Assistant and I was in Housekeeper/PCA.I had lost track of her in 2010.Prayers are with all her Family.RIP my Friend

  • Dustin & Brandon my heart aches for you both so very much .You were your mommas world she adored the both of you.She also was so in love with her gbabies and told me so many stories of them i could feel her smile thru the phone as we spoke .Your momma and i have been friends for many many years and there are so many fond memories i will keep near and dear to my heart . I will never forget realizing your mother and i was in love with Aerosmith and Conway Twitty and went to several concerts of their’s again unforgettable memories.I can imagine Conway greeted her with him singing hello darlin.   • I’m very sorry for your loss and wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy. I personally find comfort in God’s promise of a resurrection of our loved ones at John 5:28,29. We have the opportunity to see our loved ones again under the beautiful conditions described at Psalms 37:10,11. I hope these scriptures bring you some peace during your difficult time.
