MANSFIELD: Cheryl Janette (Baker) Harmon, 60, of Mansfield, passed away peaceably Sunday evening, November 25, 2018, at Ohio Health in Mansfield. She was born February 5th, 1958, in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glenn and Martha (Meyer) Baker.

Cheryl was formerly employed with the Mansfield News Journal as a motor route driver. Cheryl loved to fish and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

Cheryl is survived by her two children, Treasa (Harmon) Bryant of Mansfield, Steve Harmon of Mansfield, two grandchildren, Jake Bryant and Noah Bryant.  Her siblings Glenn (JoAnn) Baker of Willard, D. Scott Baker of Bellville, Shereen (Tim) Hall of Mansfield, Jilean (Tim) Barker of Newport Richey, FL, Christopher (Metchlyn) Baker of Mansfield, and Heidi Baker of Norwalk, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Cindra Baker and Rebecca Hunt.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1 pm in Lantz Cemetery.  Rev. Glenn E. Baker, Cheryl’s nephew will officiate. The family will be greeting family and friends at The Eagles 129 N. Main St. Mansfield, Ohio 44902, immediately following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Marion Avenue Snyder funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
