 Charlotte G. Gardner, 89, of Galion passed away May 10, 2021 at home.

Born December 7, 1931 in Galion, she was the daughter of Earl and Genevieve (Lohr) Scott. She married Dallas Duane Gardner on August 13, 1949 and he preceded her on February 24, 1997.

She attended Galion High School and worked as a bartender at the Dave’s Tavern, American Legion and also Galion Eagles until her retirement. She is a life member of the VFW, Post 4329 and the Galion Eagles Club. Charlotte enjoyed playing Bingo and loved riding on Bob’s motorcycle clear up to the age of 87.

She is survived by two children, Robert “Bobby” (Becky) Gardner of Galion and Mary Ann (Tim McGill) Mills of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Greg (Diane) Keller of Bucyrus, Glen Keller of Galion, Charles Mills, Jr. of Crestline, Matthew (Maura Davis) Gardner of Galion and Amber (Mark) Smith, Jr. of Ashland; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kalin, Kadisha, Dream, Amari, Jordann, Levi, Wilder and Holden; great-great-grandchildren, Alecia and Adalee

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers, Lowell Riddlebaugh and Daniel Scott and sister, Muriel Knightstep.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 14, 2021. Burial will follow at Crawford County Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice in care of the funeral home.
