He was born on May 11, 1930 in Galion to the late William C. Allen and Golda M. (Noonan) Allen Stott. A graduate of Galion High School in 1948, he proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict as a veteran of the US Army.

At the age of 15, Jack worked as a telegram delivery boy with Western Union advancing his career and became a trouble shooting manager, working all over the State of Ohio. He then served as the manager for Greyhound Bus Line, serving at Mansfield depot for 20 years. One never to sit idle, he then worked as a security guard for Pinkerington Security at the P.P.G. plant in Delaware until the age of 75.

Jack treasured children, first his own children as his home provided the community with a back yard roller coaster, swimming pool in the summer, and an ice rink in the winter. That love continued to his grandchildren, with his extensive library of Disney and cartoon videos through to the everlasting rides on the lawn mower and “Cowboy Jack” songs.

Ornery to the end at which time he shared a final beer with his children, he was a constant flirt and provider to his family. Very level headed, he exhibited and demanded a strong work ethic and stood fast by his high morals.
