Charles T. Huff, age 75, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born on May 8, 1943 in Suitland, Maryland the son of Charles H. and Ruby (Keplinger) Huff.

Charles earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Maryland.  He was employed with United States Department of Agriculture as a soil conservationist and retired in 2005 after 37 years of employment.  Charles volunteered at Knox Community Hospital and was a member of Kiwanis and Faith Baptist Church where he sang in the choir.  Charles was also a golfing enthusiast and enjoyed playing with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne A. (Rounds) Huff whom he married on October 11, 1975; two daughters, Jennifer A. (Kyle) Kershner of Fredericktown and Julie (Trent) Randall of Fredericktown; four grandchildren, Kaleb, Hailey, Eliana and Nadia; a sister, Pat (Jim) McCarty of Jacksonville, Florida.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 8764 Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where a funeral service will be held on Friday beginning at 11 a.m.    Rev. Doug Forsythe will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Memorial contributions in Charles’s name may be made to the Faith Baptist Church, Heartland Hospice or the Kobacker House in Columbus.
