A special surprise was when you came with him to our home once during your high school years as his assistant. Our conversations were about sports, you, cars, and life in general. I am pleased and appreciate time I spent with him. Bill

  • To the Ysseldyke family, especially Jenny – so sorry for your sudden loss. Will miss having Chuck be at my house (6 different ones!) every other Friday as I have for decades. My children grew up with him and he lived to see them have children. Enjoyed our chats when we happened to be home on those Fridays. He brought Jenny’s wedding pictures to show me, such a proud Dad. I know your memories will be a great comfort. –Noelle (and Gary too)

  • So very sorry for your loss. Chuck always had a big smile, was so reliable and flexible too. We’ll miss his talents and his humor along with his smile. Sending our sincere condolences and caring thoughts.

  • Uncle Chuck will be missed dearly! Being a niece of his I always got some kind of smart-ass comment that made me smile! I loved being in his presence and will miss it! It comforts me to know he is with his Momma. My dear Grandma Y! I know she was happy to see him!

  • This is very hard for me. I worked for your dad and we went to school together. Jennifer I have known you since the day you were born. I am so sorry for your loss.

  • I am truly sorry for your lost. Even though I haven’t been in contact with him in many years I always thought of him as a friend. You will be in my prayers as Chuck will be.

  • We were so sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. We had only know Chuck thru his cleaning company as he had cleaned our home for 8 years. Thru those years we learned about Chuck and his family, especially Barbara who at times helped Chuck when he came to our home. We also knew how much Chuck loved his family and especially his daughter. After her wedding he was so proud to bring photos to share in his joy and love. Chuck could hardly look at the photos without tears of joy coming to his eyes.
Chuck was a part of our family. He loved our cat as Bodie would follow Chuck around the house every other Thursday. Bodie always answered the door when Chuck rang the bell.

We will miss Chuck as will many others. We offer our deepest sympathy to his family.

    Tom and Sally Rice

  • To the Ysseldyke family – we just learned that Chuck has passed away. Like many others who have expressed their sympathy, he was part of our family for decades. He was always pleasant and easy going. You could tell how much daughter Jenny meant to him. We are so sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort.

  • I grew up with Chuck in Huber Ridge. I will remember his smile and fun sense of humor. My condolences to his family for their loss.
