Charles J. “Charlie” Farina, 32, of Galion, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at Galion Community Hospital, after a sudden illness.

Born Feb. 23, 1976 in Galion, he was the son of the late Charles A. “Bub” Farina and Esta M. Glenn Farina who survives in Galion.

Charlie enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and playing darts. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees and had been employed at Galion Canvas.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Holly Duncan, with whom he made his home; one son, Charles D. Farina and one daughter, Stevielynn Duncan, both at home; his grandparents, Walter Glenn of Cardington and Charles A. and Doris Farina of Ontario and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and his two grandmothers, Mary Glenn and Emily Farina.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home. No funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
