Charles F. “Chuck” RILEY, age 76 of Delaware died Tuesday afternoon, September 3, 2002 at Delaware Court.
He was born in Delaware County on Sept. 13, 1925 to the late Roy I. and Sarah Jones Riley. Lifelong area resident and WW II US Army Veteran.
He retired from the Grounds & Building Maintenance Dept. of Ohio Wesleyan University. Chuck was a sports fan and a member of Delaware Moose.
Proceeded in death by his wife: Betty J. Harter Riley on Sept. 30, 1987, Son: David F. Riley on Feb. 15, 2000, Brothers: Fred & Clyde Riley.
Survived by Brothers: Floyd Riley of Delaware, Paul Riley of Delaware, Brother-in-law: Richard Harter of Mansfield, Sisters-in-law: Peggy (Clarence) Fraley of Ashley, Darlene (Earl Sr.) Clark of Delaware, Imo Riley of Delaware, Nieces, and Nephews.
Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware. Graveside services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by the Delaware County Veterans Assoc.
