Charles “Chuck” W. Harrington

March 27, 1956 ‒ March 22, 2019

Marengo, Ohio

Charles “Chuck” W. Harrington, age 62, of Marengo, passed peacefully at home on Friday, March 22, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born in Marysville to the late Donald and Joann (Sanderson) Harrington. He attended Marysville High School, and married the love of his life, Candy Fouty, on June 20th, 1987.

Chuck drove truck for 32 years before his retirement in 2018, most recently working for Buckeye Stoves. As an over-the-road driver, he saw much of the country he loved. An avid hunter and supporter of Ducks Unlimited, Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, his dogs Mitchel, Otis, and Bo, yard work, and old westerns- particularly those featuring Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, and the Lonesome Dove series. He will be remembered as a serious but giving man whose proudest achievement was raising a fine family.

In addition to his loving wife of 32 years, Chuck is survived by sons Andrew Plummer, Marysville, and Cory Lewis (Tiffany), Richwood; daughters Nichole Harrington-Island, Columbus and Robyn Lewis, Delaware; brother Allen (Allicia), Cape Corral, FL; brother-in-law Mark (Sid) Fouty, Granville; sisters-in-law Lisa Fouty, Delaware and Cindy Carman, Sunbury, as well as 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friends of over 40 years- Mark and Victoria Sullivan, Jeff and Darla Bohenko, and Larry Adams.
