Catherine “Kitty” Carbetta Fraser

MANSFIELD: Catherine “Kitty” Carbetta Fraser, 76, of Mansfield passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Mansfield MedCentral Hospital following a sudden illness.
Kitty was born February 13, 1937 in Mansfield the daughter of Lawrence and Martha (McDevitt) Bergstrom and graduated from Ontario High School in 1955.
Kitty worked for Tappen and Warren Rupp Company.
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and solving crossword puzzles. A wonderful cook, Kitty made the best Italian dishes. She also enjoyed time outside gardening.
She is survived by her children Marc (Kim) Carbetta of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nick (Laurie) Carbetta of Mansfield, Timothy Carbetta of Ontario, and Tracey (Mike) Porter of Canton; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; step children Richard (Kelly) Fraser of Cape Coral, Florida, Kenneth Fraser II, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Sean (Jennifer) Fraser of Galion; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick Carbetta, second husband Kenneth Fraser; one grandson; brothers Larry and Don Bergstrom, and sister Maurine Faine.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 3 pm in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1-3 pm. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate.
Memorial contributions to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation may be made through the funeral home.
